Bronson Arroyo hasn’t heard from the Reds front office, he told Mark Sheldon of MLB.com.
“The sense I have, I don’t think they’ll make me a [qualifying] offer,” Arroyo said, according to Sheldon. “They would have to offer me $13-14 million for me to stay, anyway.”
Arroyo said he is looking for, at least, a two-year deal from his next team.
He said he understands the economics of the Reds not looking to re-sign him with their internal younger, cheaper options.
